#6 Torch see a better day
I don't know to say. Just be nice to each other. You don't know what someone is going through.
Warning: this one is going awful. I just don't have the strength to try harder. Sorry. If you also have a bad day, don't give up, ok? Sometimes it's the only thing we can do. That's enough, I'm still proud of you.
As you can see, there was a lot going back and forth. Let's refresh one of the past lessons. Do not worry, that thing that you are drawing looks flat and ugly, first of all you need shape, texture and details comes after.
Decided that bigger flame looks better. Another past lesson: shape will change, it's normal, do not stick your first sketch, if something looks better, just add it.
Started adding lightning on the handle.
Here I thought it looked stupid with the brighter part near the flame, so I changed the colors around.
Finished light and added some texture to the metal. Just a few lines of similar color makes all the difference.
These 3 do not require in depth explanation, I think. Lesson: if colors clash with each other too much, add something in between them. Like a darker version of a brighter color, like I did here.
I'm sorry for such a short post. I promise I will fight on. If I can't give up, you also can't! Go for it, my friend, we need some bad days, how would we distinct the good days without them?
