#40 Don't cry little one (it's going to get worse)

Hi!
Today was a great day! I picked up my ass and got to work. Work on something new, scary and unpredictable.
And to be honest, it was fun.
This is my first 256x256 canvas drawing. With that many pixels, it's hard to fill the blank space, but on the other hard the drawing is limited only by my skills. It will most likely take a long time to master, but the results can be incredible.

Because the number of details has increased, I will try to make this part as accurate as I'm able to. So that's how I started, face and a hairline. If it's hard for you, don't worry, I was also trying to get the right shape a million times before, but now it's much easier. Just keep training.

More accurate sketch, with the hairline that I will be working on.

I realized that I have never shown how I make eyes, so this is going to be step by step, eyes with Citrus.
First of all, the eyelashes and the sclera (the white part). They kinda make the frame for the eye.

Later I typically add 2 colors, one main and one as a detail.

In the middle, the pupil, with reflections, I have no idea why, but lesson: reflections are the most important part of the eye.

More reflections and the shading.

Some cute details also look great most of the time, try adding little stars or tears.

That's how she presents with both eyes, not bad, if I can say.

Here's the hardest part, the hair. I have no idea how to make them look good on such a big resolution. I just added some shades.

Drawing someone looking straight at you is hard (drawing someone in any position in space-time is hard[drawing is hard]). You have to be amazing at this to make it look not flat. I tried my best, but this sure is going to be another thing for me to pay attention to.

The left side is done. I don't really know what more can I add without going into "random lanes" direction.

I wanted to show this amazing jump, that you sometimes can miss when looking at one detail at the time. This one looks so much more alive than the previous one. The shadow from the hair is crazy important. But the little blush and dots on the hair also put a lot of work.

The final piece. I should have dropped the jumper, but I also want to train cloths, so that of you with the interest in fashion, I'm sorry in advance.
It looks like a work of an enthusiastic amateur... and that's totally true.
I'm happy that I forced myself to work on this, and you also should give yourself a chance. Even if you think, something is impossible for you, just give it a try.
Do your best, that's the only thing that matters.
Anyway, thank you for reading, and see you on the next one!
