#35 What's one more try?

This is my another try on the chibi style. It's better than the previous one, but still not as good as I would like.
But I'm not going to complain. I'm still learning, so not everything I make have to be perfect. Next one is going to be better.
Also, I didn't feel like pixeling today at all. To be honest, I would nap all day if I could. But I forced myself to work, and even if the result is not amazing, I'm happy that I was able to overcome my laziness.
There is much more to learning than just visible effects. You have to work on your habits, motivation and mental. You might not see it, but you are improving.

I know, it's one giant hecking head. I had a couple tries to reach this shape, and I'm still not happy with it. I guess it will come with more practice (I hope so...).

The eyes come more natural for me, which is a surprise, because they were always such a hassle.

This is a simple and not bad looking base you can use. Lesson:just be aware that your brain will have a very hard time recognizing an eye from just the pupil. If you want to see how good they look, first finish them and preferably add the second one, then judge.

The whole face looks kinda cursed without proper hair. Let's fix that.

I'm trying to make these chibis as simple as they can be, so no advanced hair patterns on this one. Just a normal outline and shade.

The unrealistically big head makes it hard to pick the right shape for it.

A little different, light ray than the usually, just for the funnies. It makes one part of the drawing more distinct, and it won't need more details, but the other side is left empty.

I have a terrible habit of drawing people like the Wii avatars (please tell me, you remember Wii. I'm not that old, I swear).

It should be simple, but this is horrendous.

Much better, not she looks kinda human.

The final piece. To be honest, it does not look like an hour of work, but it only means I have to practice more.
Thank you for reading and see you on the next one, I will try to keep more regular posts instead of waiting till the very last day. I hope it will give me more time to train.
As always, don't give up, I'm proud of your work!
