#31 Polish what you have

#31 Polish what you have

This is just a silly post. Just because I felt like pixeling.

Some time ago I realized that often I stop myself from working on this project. I think the reason for this is my how my past projects ended. They were often short bursts of excitement. I was working non-stop for a 3–5 days and then never touched it again. I was afraid this one will end the same. So I was kinda limiting myself (don't get me wrong, I am also lazy as fuck and sometimes could not even work within this small limit) so I will not burn out so fast.

Because of that, I was never "just" pixeling. It was always for the posts.

I'm taking this limit now. Lesson: every effort matters, having fun is the best way to keep improving. Just do what you love, have fun, and you will grow eventually.

I'm kinda getting used to this method. If you are only beginning, better try to start your arts like this, instead of the outline.

I think I said that before, but I have to once again. This is my favorite part. Just before the details. I used to hate it, and that's funny. I literarily have "enemies to lovers" relationship with a drawing process. Everything is ready, you can let your imagination go wild.

I have to try to use this pattern more. I'm always hesitant, in close like this, it does not look great, but on the full art, gives an amazing effect.

Just little by little, head empty, only pixels.

I don't think there is too much to explain here. Not every time you have to rediscover the America you know?

Some irregular shapes are great to break the pattern.

Is it the prettiest or the most polished thing I have ever done? Hell no! Did I have fun making it? Yes!

Remember that your brain also learns passively, by just doing something. Don't let the fear that you are not "learning enough" stop you from learning at all! That is just stupid!

Anyway, thank you for the read. I hope you are doing well and enjoying yourself. See you!
