#27 Just bad

I really don't want to write this one. The art is bad, and the story behind is even worse. I failed on so many things, it's not even funny.

First of all, this was supposed to be my first even "two day" art. That's why there was no post during the week. I wanted to make something big, something polished. And I fucked up on the first step. I just didn't start working the first day. No excuses, I failed. It's my fault. I can't even sit to the computer and start something I like, I'm that useless.

Second of all, This was supposed to be a gift. Well, it won't be. It's not even not good enough. It's just bad. I would not like to receive such an awful gift, so I won't even try.

I'm writing this post just because I promised to my every failure. There you go. Even the post will be uninteresting, so it will be a triple fail.

I seriously don't know, am I even learning something? Where this is all going? Useless, awful arts and some ramblings that only I am reading.

This was much bigger art than I normally do. 256x200, so I had to place things before I even sketching.

Started with the rock. There isn't much to say here.

Just some random lines to make it less bland. Shades, that's all.

I wanted to make a character standing back to the "camera". Because of the humorous reasons, I dropped it, maybe I'll use this idea in another pixel, looks cool.

My goal was to make her comically jump while mining. I needed like 20 tries to set her in a, more or less, correct position.

Just some basics. Placement of the hands was really difficult.

Here I added details. When you set the eyebrows diagonally, they always look angry, no matter how the eyes are actually made. Typical hair, one light stripe and some shades.

Background... Just colored it all to gray, made lines and added different colors.

Here I wanted to make a keeling character. It kinda looks ok, but I feel like it could be better.

Changed her outfit, but with that few pixels I could not make anything good-looking.

Another background work. Different colors and random lines resembling grass and wind.

And that's all. It was supposed to be my greatest work, but it's terrible. That's all. I can't force myself to say anything optimistic on this one. I didn't do my best.

It's just one of those posts to show you that failure is part of this. Big part.
