#17 Hope, excitement and... cookies?

#17 Hope, excitement and... cookies?

Halloooo! I'm not late this time (well, if we count that week start on Sunday, I am, but let's ignore that). No big talk this time, I feel like I was abusing your inability to talk too much lately. Just have hope and look for miracles. Necessarily both at the same time, they only work together. If you do not have hope, you will not be able to see miracles, and what can you hope for if not for a miracle?

This piece is similar to one of the previous one. And there is nothing you can do about it. I really like this style (it's also much easier than full body, but we do not talk about that), so I'll probably do one more like this.

Empty lines always look so intimidating. Whenever I'm at this point, I start to doubt I can even make it look alive. But I do not stop, I have hope that I will manage. If not, well at least I tried, there was an opportunity for a miracle.

Let yourself make mistakes, do not be afraid of them. One in a million chance is still better than, giving up on a spot. If you do not believe me, believe in math, only smart people do math so they must be right.

I tried to make it more interesting by playing with the color palette. Instead of different shades of skin, I tried using blue for outlines and details.

My amazing planning skill strike again! I had to move eyes lower, and that's why parts of the hair are cut in half.

Not gonna lie. Half finished works like this are kinda scary. It's so rough, cut and plain. Even now, I have no idea how did I made it look better. In my theory, it's some kind of magic, we unconsciously reach some otherworldly power that makes things alive in our eyes.

Here! My greatest innovation. I tried to make hair look a little transparent by continuing the lash, when it should be covered. It does not look great, but I will never learn if I won't try.

My favorite light line is back! It's not even, as you can see. Another of my great inventions, I thought it will make parts of the hair look like on the different level.

The shade and a little change in hair color. All to make it more 3D like.

Last bits of hair and smoothing. If you feel like something on yours drawing is not right, but you can't pinpoint what: you should check if the lines are not doubled somewhere.

A little light, looks cute and alive!

Wow, she is so excited! What does she see??? I want to see it too!!! (The answer is cookies, btw, so you know. I have cliffhangers too.)

As always, thank you for reading, remember to have hope and look for miracles! Life is much more fun this way!
